The REPEX Table
The REPEX table stands for repeated end range passive exercise and it's a great intervention to decrease pain and improve mobility associated with diagnoses such as Sciatica, Lumbar Radiculitis, Stenosis, Degenerative Disc Disease and many others. It is unique for me to have this machine outside of the hospital system and easily accessible to you under the Corrective Exercise or Stretching session tab. After at least one session with me to determine your needs on the REPEX table, you may schedule a stand alone REPEX appointment for 15 minutes at a time at a very reasonable rate. So you can get your back feeling better and moving better...with Bacon (and the REPEX)!
Meet Traci.
I have been helping people move better since 1999. I started my fitness teaching career at Rancho la Puerta in Tecate, Mexico, which is regularly featured at the top of the list for best destination fitness spas in the world. I obtained my Physical Therapy degree from UT Southwestern here in Dallas in 2008 and since then I've continued learning and obtaining advanced certifications (McKenzie, Mulligan Concept, Dry Needling, Office Ergonomics). In my 16 year career working full time in UT's Spine Center and Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinic...I am known as the go-to Spine PT specialist and worked with Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctors on specialized protocols, program development, training and presentations. I have healed and transformed the lives of thousands of people. My techniques not only decrease pain but facilitate self awareness of faulty movement patterns and development of more efficient patterns. Whether you are a weekend warrior, athlete or computer jockey, I can assist you in optimizing your movement so you can move better. If you desire less pain, improved range of motion and maximizing the potential of the body you have, then book with me!

My Services Include:
-
Functional Movement Screen
This screen is a standardized performance tool that assesses an individual's fundamental movement patterns. It is used to identify limitations and imbalances that could lead to injuries down the road. Allow me to lead and score you in 7 simple tests that screen your upper and lower body for tightness, weakness and mobility deficits. Based on your scores, I'll prescribe simple home exercises to address your issues. Typically just (1) hour long initial session is needed with the option to schedule 30 minute follow ups to progress your program. Re-testing can take place every 4-6 weeks (as desired). The benefit of allowing me to perform the screen is the extensive knowledge I have of orthopedic tissue/joint issues that can lead to limitations. No prescription is required.
-
Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy (PT), also known as Physiotherapy, is provided by Physical Therapists (like me!) who promote, maintain, or restore health through physical examination and assessment. In the state of Texas, a referral for PT is required to receive services. Usually, pain is the primary impairment that causes people to go to the doctor. Doctors can prescribe PT, and then I communicate directly with the doctor about your treatment. Concierge house visits are available for an additional cost of $35 per 50 minutes (or more depending on location - we can discuss if this is an option you’d like to explore)
-
Corrective Exercise
Corrective Exercise is a technique that leverages an understanding of anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics to improve the overall quality of movement during workouts, sports, and in everyday life. Corrective Exercise is used to help assess and determine the root cause of imbalances and faulty movement patterns that lead to issues with posture, balance, and total body coordination. Clients do not need a referral or ‘prescription’ for services. Concierge house visits are available for an additional cost of $35 per 50 minutes (or more depending on location - we can discuss if this is an option you’d like to explore)
-
Therapeutic Stretching
What’s included? An assessment of joint and tissue tightness by a Physical Therapist and active, passive and dynamic stretching techniques. Concierge house visits are available for an additional cost of $35 per 50 minutes (or more depending on location - we can discuss if this is an option you’d like to explore)
